Best Air Fryer Potatoes Recipe

Admin November 8, 2021

Potatoes are a common food for all of us, often appearing as a common ingredient in the meals of the day. Surely we all love fries at KFC, fast food restaurants… Fries for a party, a family meal, or to eat while watching Netflix. But many people are concerned that this dish is too oily and not good for health. So let Kababeque give you a great solution to make potatoes that are both delicious and low in oil, good for your health.
The key is to use an air fryer, a device that is slowly becoming commonplace in every kitchen. In this article, Kababeque will show you 2 ways to make the most delicious potatoes:

Air Fryer Sliced Potatoes

  Best Air Fryer Potatoes Recipe

Air Fryer Potato Sliced is the best way to cook potato slices deliciously and attractively. Air-fried with salt, pepper, rosemary, and extra virgin vegetable oil make crispy and super tasty potato slices. Crispy, crunchy, and addictive air fries have 60% less fat than store-bought fries. Making fries in an air fryer requires a bit of work, but the result is a delicious and pretty healthy snack. Does it get much better?

Use tongs to separate the jammed potatoes carefully to ensure they cook evenly and remove the crisps completely.

If you want your potato slices to be crispier, then I recommend sprinkling extra virgin olive oil in a spray bottle, near the end of the cooking process. This will make it extra crispy and make them super crispy. I use a spray of extra virgin olive oil in my pantry for recipes like sliced potatoes in the air fryer.

Air Fries is one of the simplest air fryer recipes:

  • Cut your potatoes
  • Put in a bowl with extra virgin olive oil + seasoning
  • Use your hands to brush the potatoes with oil + spices.
  • Load it into the air fryer
  • Air frying + serving

There’s a bit more to slicing potatoes in an air fryer, but those are the basics.

The air fryer’s cooking time for potato slices is a straightforward one. You start with a 12-minute cooking time over medium heat. Check your potato slices, then cook for 5 more minutes on higher heat.

If you prefer sweeter than white, I have a recipe for slicing sweet potatoes in the air fryer for your reference. I don’t use this recipe for casseroles (although you can) and love using it to serve while soaking and enjoying a marathon on Netflix.

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium potatoes, washed with a brush under running water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Optional seasoning: black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder
  • Optional toppings: cooked shredded bacon, chopped scallions, fresh or dried parsley, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese

How to make it:

  • Wash hands with soap and water.
  • Heat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Cut the potatoes into thick slices.
  • Drizzle with vegetable oil and toss lightly with optional seasoning.
  • Place coins in the basket or rack of the air fryer. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the corn is tender and browned.
  • If adding toppings, coat each dime with cheese, bacon, scallions, or parsley and return to the air fryer for 2 to 5 minutes until all ingredients are cooked through. fully heated. and melted cheese.
  • Remove the potato coins and garnish with soured cream, if desired.
  • Serve immediately. To preserve leftovers, we should keep them in an airtight container and keep them in the refrigerator.

Note:

Crispy. I recommend adding a little extra virgin olive oil 3 minutes before the end of the cooking time if you want crispier sliced potatoes.

Quantity. Avoid filling the air fryer above the ¾ line. Because the potatoes will stick together and you won’t find the potatoes crispy.

Air Fryer Potato Wedges

  Best Air Fryer Potatoes Recipe

Air Fryer’s fries are crispy and perfectly seasoned! Mixed with Parmesan, these easy homemade air fryers make a delicious appetizer or side dish. Air Fryer Potatoes wedges are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Cooking seasonings in the Air Fryer saves you calories compared to traditional deep-frying but also makes them a lot crisper than baking in the oven.

These spices are perfectly seasoned with garlic, paprika, salt and pepper, and a little olive oil making them super flavorful. We also love tossing the Wedges with some grated Parmesan cheese and parsley after frying them within the air for extra deliciousness!

How do you cut potatoes into wedges? Using a Chef’s knife cut the potatoes in half lengthwise. Place the cut side down on the cutting board and cut it in half again to a  quarter. Place each quarter of the cut potato on top, then cut the center of the quarter down to create a wedge. The number of seasonings depends on the size of the potato. The thick end should be about 0.5 inches thick.

Which potatoes are best for seasoning? Russet potatoes are best suited for seasoning. They ripen faster and are crispier than other potatoes. Organic potatoes are a good choice because potatoes are on the list of dirty potatoes. After all, the product has the highest pesticide residue. Yellow, Yukon, red, and white potatoes also work, but the result won’t be as crunchy, the texture will be waxier, and they’ll take a few minutes to cook longer. But they will still be delicious!
